Over the years I’ve built a multi-media career as an editor, writer, presenter, public relations consultant and special event manager, spokesperson, host, and educator.
I’ve been reporting on beauty and health for over two decades, working closely with many of the world’s top fashion stylists, hairdressers, makeup artists and skincare specialists. As the Beauty and Health Editor for Chatelaine Magazine, Editor-in-Chief of Images Magazine and Host of W’s The Beauty Guide, I have had close up and personal access to the inner circles of the beauty and fashion industry.
Along the way I gathered many valuable tips, insider know-how and enough first-hand experience to rescue any dull complexion, over-plucked eyebrows or hair disaster. A true ‘hair first’ girl, I’m never far from a deep conditioner and will not rest until I’ve found a styling product that consistently works for curly hair like mine and other hair textures.
Health and fitness is my passion. I believe beauty is most radiant when you’re healthy. A regime of nourishing foods, supplements, adequate rest, restorative sleep, plus exercising correctly and consistently all have their place. Regular exercise is the fountain of youth. Over the years I’ve trained with some of Canada’s top athletes and personal fitness coaches, learning from the world’s best experts about the psychology and physiology of exercise.
