HOLT’S HOT @ 175 STREET PARTY & MOBILE POP-UP SHOP

A tripple header of fashionable events took place last Thursday, September 6th: Toronto Fashion’s Night Out (FNO),the beginning of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF),and the celebration of Holt Renfrew’s 175th birthday with a ‘Hot in the City’ street party at the Bloor flagship store.

 

Holt’s  launched the Hot@175 Mobile Tour; a cross-country, traveling pop-up shop that will sell exclusively designed, limited edition sweatshirts in celebration of 175 years of style.

The mobile tour will travel across the country during the month of September in a unique Hot@175 truck.The truck is in Ottawa today and will be moving across the country including stops in Montreal, Quebec City, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver, with many surprises along the way!

The Holt's mobile pop-up shop will hit stores across Canada.

The six sweatshirts, designed by seven internationally renowned graphic artists, are available in five colours and a variety of styles and will retail for $75.

Artists Joachim Baan, Justin Broadbent, Jonathan Mak Long, Andrew & Matt McCracken, Alex Viau and Jamie Webster were commissioned by Holt Renfrew to design their vision of what it means to be Hot@175. All 7 designers of the mobile tour sweatshirts were in attendance.

A commemorative video on the façade of the store featured cameos from top designers. Messages included “Happy birthday Holt Renfrew, Canada wouldn’t be so chic without you!” from Michael Kors.  Dolce & Gabbana said “Happy Anniversary! And thanks you for your wonderful and loyal support throughout the years!”.

There were thousands of fans at the Bloor Street store, enjoying the festivities outside and inside the store and shopping up a storm.
