White nail polish is my go to colour. It’s what I wear 90% of the time because it hides dirt and minimizes chips. But it has to be the right white, meaning neither too runny or too opaque, with a hint of blue undertone (not gold or pink!) without being too sparkly or frosty.
Revlon’s Nail Enamel Faux Suede in Powder Puff from the new Suede Rhapsody Collection nails the colour perfectly. Drying time, just as important as the right colour, is mercifully quick at one minute flat. No exaggeration. This faux suede formula dries at top speed and I found it to be extremely chip resistant. I’m not a big fan of matte finishes so I follow with a coat of Revlon’s ExtraLife No Chip Top Coat for a more glossy finish that also helps prolong the life of the polish.
As well, in partnership with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Revlon will contribute $1.00 from each purchase to fund breast cancer research. What’s not to love.
Price: $5.50. Beauty Eh! Available at retails across Canada only until December 2010. I plan to stash a few away.
